Environmental work in the community
H&H Green Energy is working hard with the community, government agencies and companies specialized in carrying out environmental impact studies, as required by Panamanian legislation for this type of projects. The approach with organized community groups has been vital for residents to understand that, being a green energy project, caring for the environment is a priority.
The fauna, flora, as well as the large number of natural water sources throughout the mountainous area that makes up COCLE WIND POWER PLANT are notable. Which is why various technical aspects such as the layout of wind turbines and electrical towers have had the main objective of respecting and reducing the environmental impact to the lowest possible percentage.
Close communication with environmental groups has allowed us to learn first-hand about their concerns and teach about the importance of a wind project for the region. At this time we are planning reforestation actions so that the townships involved can guarantee the vital liquid in the future.
